Welcome to The World of Emosa! Feel free to sign up and create your own character! Be sure to read the plot and rules first, though!
A slight change is being made concerning the RP boards. I am now dividing the world into 3 continents. The plot will be modified, only slightly, as well.
Dragons are now a limited race! If you would like to apply for a dragon, please read the limited race rules and fill out the application.
A new rule was added in the Forum Rules thread! I highly suggest EVERYONE reads this rule, for it is VERY important!

Please read this brief list of rules before creating a character:
Forum Rules
1) Obeying the Rules You must obey all rules and listen to the staff. There will be consequences for your misdeeds.
2) No Spamming No spamming, which means posting twice in a row, short sentences, anything random in your posts, etc.
3) Language Swearing is aloud, though nothing to harsh, and use it scarcely. Not just swearing, this site is English, which means no foreign language posting.
4) Activity You must be active, or let the administrator know that you will be gone for a period of time, or else your character bio could be moved to the Inactive Accepted Members board, and if your bio is not accepted and you are not active for two weeks, then your bio will be deleted.
5) Character Bios Before you can begin roleplay, your bio must be accepted! For your bio to be accepted, a staff member must OK your bio. Please do not argue with the staff if they ask for you to change something in your bio; they know best.
6) Multiple Accounts Please, only one account per member. If you want to play as more than one character at a time, use the same account. It's not that difficult.
Roleplaying Rules
1) Stay in Theme It is pretty easy to stay in theme, which simply means do not bring a gun to a war. But, it also means no modern day slang (Wassup? etc.).
2) Mary/Gary Sues Your character may not be PERFECT! No one in real life is perfect, correct? Please make your character have flaws; it makes Roleplay seem more realistic.
3) Third Person All roleplaying must be in third person - "He walked up to Scott." not "I walked up to Scott."
4) Chatting in Roleplays When talking out of character, type OOC - before whatever it is you need to say.
5)Grammar We're not very strict here on Grammar and Punctuation, but at least make it readable. Try to use spell check. It is not a necessity, however.
6) God-Modding No god-modding/power playing, which means you cannot control other people's characters.
7) Death You cannot kill another player's character without their permission; however, if you want to kill off your own character, you may do so at any time.
8) Romance It is aloud, but keep it to a minimum. No graphic descriptions, please.
9) No One-Liners! I cannot exaggerate this rule enough. Please, no one liners. Try to make your rp posts a paragraph, at least; 5 solid sentences.
10) Cloning You may not, under any cirumstances, RP with the same character in more than one thread at a time. If you wish to leave your current thread, then do so in character. You may, however, post in the Practice Boards and be in as many threads as you like.
11) Character Bios (Added September 8, 2008) In order for your bio to be accepted, two staff members must OK it. You MAY NOT begin roleplaying unless it has been accepted by two staff members, at least.
