Updates and News

Welcome to The World of Emosa! Feel free to sign up and create your own character! Be sure to read the plot and rules first, though!

A slight change is being made concerning the RP boards. I am now dividing the world into 3 continents. The plot will be modified, only slightly, as well.

Dragons are now a limited race! If you would like to apply for a dragon, please read the limited race rules and fill out the application.

A new rule was added in the Forum Rules thread! I highly suggest EVERYONE reads this rule, for it is VERY important!

Race Information

Humans - Humans live up to about 100 years in the land of Emosa. Males are from about 5'8" to 6'8" in height, females are from about 5'2" to 6'. Humans now control most of Emosa's cities, and live anywhere in the Northern or Southern lands.

Elves - Elves can live up to about 500 - 700 years, and are slightly shorter than the average human. Elves stand beside the humans, but consider themselves far superior to humans in every way. They are beautiful, powerful, and intelligent, while humans are greedy, power-hungry, and ugly in elven standards.

Dwarves - Dwarves can live up to about 300 years, and both male and female stand from about 4' - 4'8". Both male and female can grow beards, and are very hairy creatures. They are fierce fighters, however, and strongly distrust magic.

Halflings - Halflings are considered the most unimportant race on Emosa. They can live a little longer than your average human, and stand from about 3' - 3'6". They look somewhat like elves, with pointed ears and slender bodies, but there faces are more human-like. They are mischeivious beings, that have no love for fighting.

Ogres - Ogres are fighters through and through, and mindless fighters at that. They speak in a series of grunts and other unintelligable noises, but some ogres are known to speak common, the language that every race should understand. They can live as long as a human, and stand at about 1 foot or 2 above a human.

Goblins - Goblins are short, cowardly creatures, that usually are killed off before the age of 30. When angry, however, goblins can be fierce opponents.

Minotaurs - The minotaur way of life is, actually, much like the human's. They are tall, bull-like creatures, with attitudes like that of a raging beast. Minotaurs are known to fight such as valiantly as ever, even with a sword in their chest.

Dragons - Dragons were the first creatures created, and therefore the superior race. They can live for hundreds of years, and are extremely difficult to slay. If the dragons were involved in the war, the result would be harsh.

Classes Info

Knights - Knighthood is a human custom, for those of noble blood or of great bravery. A knight must wear the ceremonial armor that is given to him upon knighthood, and bears the crest of his ranking.

Warriors - There are many types of warriors; swordsmen, archers, mercenaries, ect. Warriors weild a sword, or spear, or some other weapon, and love to fight.

Barbarian - From the region of Winterpeace, Barbarians are actually very intelligent people, but are outcasts from society. They fight bravely in combat, and usually weild some sort of blunt weapon or axe.

Mage - A mage is one who studies the art of magic, taking his/her spells straight from a spell-book. It is known to take years of training even to cast the simplest of spells, and mages can be far more powerful than any warrior if well-trained.

Dark Wizard - Dark Wizards do not follow the rules of a mage, and drain the lives of the living to supplement their spells.

Sorcerer - Sorcerers do follow the rules of wizardry, but do not use spellbooks. Instead, they gain their power from the earth itself.

Necromancers - Necromancers, like Dark Wizards, do not follow the rules of magic, and tamper with the dead, possibly creating hordes of undead.

Healer - There are many kinds of healers. Some healers use herbs and potions to cure the wounded, while others and heal by magic. Healing by magic is a rare gift, however, and its source is unknown.

Priest - Priests care for others in the name of their god, whoever it may be. Some priests are known to heal, while others only spread the word of their miraculous god.

Thief - Thieves make a living from stealing, basically.

Assassin - Assassins usually murder for money, but can also kill for pleasure. Steer clear of them!
